Brad Hompe's current position with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WI-DOC) is as a Corrections Complaint Examiner and Investigator. It’s actually the culmination of a long, distinguished career in the corrections system that has marked him as a great expert when it comes to jail and prison operations. That is because he has provided a wide variety of services in prisons and jails throughout Wisconsin and all over the country.

In addition to his incredibly wide range of experience, Brad Hompe also has a ton of education in his background. He started by earning his Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice and psychology, which he earned at Minnesota’s Winona State University and also earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. Brad Hompe also has law enforcement certifications from schools in Minnesota and Wisconsin and a Firefighter I Certification, which he earned from Southwest Technical College.

Corrections specialist Brad Hompe has been considered a top-notch expert when it comes to prison operations for quite a few years. And why wouldn’t he? After all, Brad has extensive experience in all aspects of jail operations, from jail and prison planning and design, to policy development, including those involving the use of force, as well as the development and implementation of training and evaluation programs and even incident management.
